Rachel Woodward

For the last 20 years I have worked with managers across a wide range of sectors as a mediator, trainer and coach. I’ve helped scientists become more customer-focused, front-line managers grow into their roles and hundreds of individuals raise their game at work.

I’ve built a highly successful business based on my practical, commercial and pragmatic approach. I have kept investing in my own skills development both as a coach and mediator – working with the very best providers. Dispute resolution is a natural extension to my coaching and training work.

I lecture at a number of UK Universities, including Lancaster University Management School, Cranfield Business School and Cambridge Judge Business School.  I specialise in conflict resolution strategies and Family Business Dynamics.  As a fourth-generation family business owner, I have an innate understanding of the complex dynamics within a family business.

When I’m not working my love of the outdoors means I can often be found leading my two children on exciting adventures over the beautiful fells and through the deep, dark tarns, which surround my Lakeland home.  We love to end the day with a wild swim followed by hot chocolate.
